At Glass on the Grass™, we celebrate life outdoors. Is there anything better than enjoying a picnic with friends and family, fresh food and a glass of quality wine? Our Website provides customers with detailed information and the opportunity to purchase Glass on the Grass™ products.
Glass on the Grass™ Blog
Our website promotes our product. As part of our promotion, we may establish a blog on the website to post relevant and interesting information and stories about or related to the product. As our product is designed to be used with wine glasses, our blog posts may mention the consumption of alcohol however as we do not sell alcohol we do not require users to be over the age of 18. We live an active life and promote the responsible service of alcohol at all times.
As a website user, you may be given the opportunity to comment on our blog posts. Please note that we don’t pre-screen or review your comments as we’re busy designing new and innovative products for you to enjoy, and creating fabulous content for your viewing pleasure. As we don’t pre-screen, there’s a chance that some comments on our blogs may not align with our brand values. We want you to know that we don’t necessarily endorse or support any views, opinions, standards or information expressed in the comments section of our blog. In saying that, if you find something offensive or inappropriate, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we’ll review the material to see whether it should be removed. We appreciate any help our website users can offer us to make sure we keep it clean!
Also, don’t take our word for it (or anyone else’s for that matter)! Just because it’s on a blog, that doesn’t mean it’s true or that it’s the best thing for you. Please make sure you do your due diligence: verify information, assess suitability and make sure a product is going to meet your needs before you buy it.
While we try to make sure that everything on our site is as up to date, complete and correct as possible, we’re a small, Australian owned family business, and we do make mistakes. So, we don’t warrant or represent that any of the information on the site (including the blog) is infallible, and we can’t accept responsibility or liability (including liability for negligence) for any loss, damage, cost or expense you or anyone else might incur because you’ve relied on or used any of the website content that’s out of date, incorrect or incomplete.
Linked Sites
We try to make your experience on our website as happy and helpful as possible. Occasionally, we might link to other sites that we think could help us do just that. Those sites will have information collated and presented by third-party businesses, organisations and individuals.
Please note that we include these links for your convenience, however we don’t necessarily endorse or support the views, opinions, standards or information expressed on them. For your own safety, please make sure you check the protocols and standards of the linked sites before using them.
Of course, because the linked sites are run by third parties, we can’t warrant or represent that any of the information on them is up to date, complete or correct (though we certainly hope it is!) While we do our best to make sure we link to reputable sites, we can’t accept responsibility or liability (including liability for negligence) for any loss, damage, cost or expense you or anyone else might incur because you’ve clicked on a link or because you’ve used or relied material on the linked sites.
Disclaimer of Liability
We take pride in our work and in our website and we take every care in collating and organising its content. That being said, our website isn’t intended to be the ultimate and complete source of information on any topic, so we ask that you please not rely on it as such. Instead, use our website for general information and conduct your own research and investigations to make such that you’re purchasing goods or services that take into account your specific needs, objectives or circumstances. This almost goes without saying, but nothing on our website constitutes or substitutes for professional or medical advice.
Please note that because of its nature as an online platform, we can’t warrant that our website and its content will be available 24/7 or that it won’t be interrupted. We also can’t promise that all stock shown on the website is, in fact, available. We’ll do our best to make sure our website is as up to date as possible, and if you place an order for a product that’s out of stock, we’ll get in touch to get it sorted out ASAP (see our terms and conditions of sale, also available on our website, for more information).
We’d be remiss as business owners if we didn’t include a limitation of liability clause here: to the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability (including liability for negligence) to you or anyone else for loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind or nature relating in any way to our website, including the blog and any linked sites. This exclusion extends (but isn’t limited to) to loss arising out of:
- errors, mistakes or inaccuracies;
- you or any other person acting or not acting, on any information;
- personal injury or property damage of any nature resulting from your or any other person’s access to or use of the website;
- any unauthorised access to or use of information or data, including personal and financial information, collected by us;
- any interruption of transmission to or from the website; and
- any malware (bugs, viruses, trojan horses, ransomware or other harmful code or communications) which may be transmitted to or through the website, including links to other sites.
Where we can’t exclude liability but we can limit it, we limit it to the maximum extent permitted under section 64A of the Australian Consumer Law, as part of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). We’ll also never be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of the use of the website, unless we’ve breached a consumer guarantee to which you are entitled under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please note that you have rights as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in this Disclaimer affects those rights. You can read more about your rights here.
